The Tentative Blogger

I've created this blog to provide a place for comments from people who visit my home school web site.  I do not know that I will actually blog -- though I've been writing content on the web site that probably qualifies as blog material -- I'm a tentative blogger.

Sure, it would make more sense then to add a comment section to my web page.  Alas I am also a Luddite and can not figure out how to do that... at least not in the time I have this evening.

So, please feel free to view and read the content at Sterling Home School Academy:  https://sites.google.com/site/sterlinghomeschoolacademy/ .  I've archived a wealth of educational resources on the site and I do write about why we decided to become Academic Pioneers for those interested in reading random musings on the subject of education.

And, please, do feel free to comment here.  But do be as diplomatic as you can manage.  As Goddess of my very own blog, I reserve the right to ban flame throwing trolls from posting.

Your Luddite Tentative Blogger Goddess with an aversion to flame throwing trolls signing off.

  1. I enjoyed your post on asynchrony very much. Takes a mom dealing with it herself to understand it and write about it. Off to read more! :)

  2. So glad you enjoyed Suji! As you read, you will find that my writings are in various stages of development. Certain pieces are well formed, others are a work in progress. Some have been spell checked, some have not. An impulsive soul, I don't polish and the post, I post then polish. Yet another reason I'm a tentative blogger :)

  3. Thank you so much for your comments on my blog. Thoughtful words on the Internet are like hen's teeth, just a teeny bit harder to find. I'm going to write a little follow-up blog to explain why it's shaped the way it is.

Thanks CQ! I look forward to your next post with additional details about the purpose of the survey.

  6. As you can see by the scarcity of posts on my blog, I truly am a tentative blogger.

I do post new content, ideas and personal thoughts on our home school web site. I'm also quite an active Facebook poster (educational content as well as personal amusements and news) and I read other's blogs. I'm lurker then, I guess. I have not really ventured into blogging routinely because I would need time to respond to an outside audience. Until I'm able to extract more time for blogging I will continue to be a tentative blogger.
